Comets standout Davis reaches next level

Congratulations to former Comets basketball player Latrel Davis, who committed to Nelson University last week.
 
Davis, a 6-6 wing from Fargo, North Dakota, led the Comets with 16.2 points and 7.9 rebounds in 22 games last season. Both of those marks ranked fourth in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference in 2023-24.
 
The Nelson Lions are an established basketball power in the Sooner Athletic Conference, with NAIA Tournament appearances in each of the past four seasons.
