Comets battle in week 2 of Super Smash Bros.

Four Comets competed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate against six college opponents Tuesday night.

Western Iowa Tech went 3-4 during its second week of regular season competition.

Dawson Zahnley won 3-0 against Terra State Community College (Fremont, Ohio) and 3-1 against Tallahassee Community College (Tallahassee, Florida). Jayden Axtell won 3-0 against Tallahassee CC before a bye in his second match slot.

Asher Johnson lost 3-0 to Muskegon Community College (Muskegon, Michigan) and 3-0 to Terra State. Robert Stickney lost 3-0 Ocean County College (Tom's River, New Jersey) and 3-0 to Hudson Valley (Troy, New York).

Johnson's and Stickney's matches were featured, and are archived, on WIT's Twitch stream.

The Comets return to the arena at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday) to compete in Valorant.
